Johan and Ina van der Westhuysen are South Africans by birth and became born again Christians on 8 October 1988.

In January 1994 they were released into fulltime pastoral ministry at the Carletonville Assembly of God in South Africa.

Four years later they were send to the Kimberley Assembly of God in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa and pastored this church for 9 years.

In January 2004 they were called into fulltime international evangelism under the name ‘Word to World Ministries.’

Cross Culture Experience

They have ministered in the following countries:

Botswana, Borneo, Brazil, France, Holland, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malawi, Malaysia, Moldova, Mozambique, Nepal, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Swaziland, UK, USA, Zimbabwe.

Johan is the author of three books:

1. Kindling, Feeding and Spreading the Flame – a study book on Christian foundations.
2. Lord, Teach us to Pray. A practical book on the power of prayer.
3. Voed die Vlam. The Afrikaans translation of Kindling, Feeding and Spreading the Flame.

Their Mission:

To preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever He sends us. They have a special passion for South East Asia, India and Africa.
